Coronavirus Update and Precautionary Measures

At Clear Title, the service we provide is always guided by our 10 Commitments. These commitments are anchored by trustcommunication, and transparency. We do not take these values lightly and will continue to communicate with our community using transparency and honesty. We understand the critical role we play in closing real estate transactions for our customers and we take that responsibility seriously.

The Coronavirus (Covid-19) Pandemic has created events we are all experiencing for the first time. Due to events surrounding Covid-19, unprecedented volume levels due to refinancing activity and disruption in the financial markets (and particularly with wire transactions), we are experiencing operational delays. These events are outside of our control and we are subject to these delays without any other solution than do the best we can under the circumstances. And, we assure you that we will do the best we can while making your health and the health of our employees the #1 priority. We ask that you do the same and set expectations accordingly with your customers and associates.

What were normal service levels in the past can no longer be achieved at this time. And, we don’t expect “normal” to return anytime soon. We strongly believe that major disruption to the real estate markets in the weeks ahead will only get worse. To expect normal service levels in abnormal times is unreasonable and unlikely.

As a result, we have implemented new policies in order to conduct business in the safest and most prudent manner we can. Included here is a copy of communication regarding these new policies. Any expectation or demand by Customers outside of these policies will not be allowed and closing services will be rescheduled or cancelled completely if these policies are not followed. There are no exceptions.

Clear Title takes the safety, health and wellness of our people, customers and community very seriously. While our employees and business have not experienced any direct impact from the Coronavirus at this time, we believe it is important to take preventative actions to keep our families and customers safe. The procedures in this linked communication are being implemented effective immediately and until further notice. We also strongly encourage you to follow these protocols at home and share this with customers, family and friends. The purpose of these policies is to not only keep you and your families safe and healthy, but also to do our part to slow the spread of the virus so health care professionals are not overrun.
